As Scheduling Coordinator, Heather is passionate about building trust and celebrating every smile transformation.

From the moment patients walk through the doors at Bloom Orthodontics in Parker, Heather is often the first person to greet them with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. As Scheduling Coordinator, she helps ensure every visit runs smoothly by checking patients in, coordinating appointments, updating records, answering questions, and making each family feel right at home.
For Heather, orthodontics is about more than schedules and appointments; it's about people. She believes every patient deserves to feel valued and cared for, which is why she treats everyone who walks through the door like family. Building relationships and getting to know patients is one of her favorite parts of the job.
A Highlands Ranch native, devoted family person, animal lover, and the welcoming face of our practice, Heather Gale helps make Bloom Orthodontics feel like home. Get to know her a little better below…

What inspired you to work in orthodontics? After being a stay-at-home mom for 20 years, I knew I wanted a job that actually made a difference. It’s so rewarding to watch the transformation of our patients' smiles and to see their confidence grow during the course of their treatment. It’s amazing for me to be just a small part of that journey.
How long have you been with Bloom Orthodontics, and what do you love most about working here? I have been working at Bloom Orthodontics for about 3 years now. My favorite part would have to be the people I work with. I have always felt welcomed, loved and appreciated here. It’s so nice to work for a “family” company that puts its employees first.
What do you love most about working in a smaller, neighborhood-focused practice?
We personally know a lot of our families from church, school or the neighborhoods we live in. A lot of our new patients come from referrals from local schools and community neighborhoods as well. We’re not just another neighborhood business, we’re truly a part of this community.
What’s something people might be surprised to learn about your role? As the front desk/scheduling coordinator, the “big picture” is my responsibility. My job consists of strategically coordinating patient care, provider efficiency, and family needs all at once in order to keep our office running smoothly.
What’s your favorite part of seeing a patient’s smile transform? The surprise reaction every time a patient gets their braces off or their attachments removed.
Whether it’s a child or an adult seeing their transformed smile for the first time, the reaction is always priceless!
Why is it meaningful to you to work in a practice that serves local families?
I think creating a sense of community anywhere is really important. It allows us to build long term relationships with our patients and their families, which helps us build a reputation built on trust.

How would you describe the Bloom experience to someone new?
We are so much more than just another orthodontic office. Our culture is family-oriented, and we are a tight-knit team of people that want to make a difference one smile at a time. You can feel it as soon as you walk through our doors.
What’s one thing you always try to do to make patients feel comfortable?
As the first point of contact for the patient, it’s important for me that they feel welcomed. Making sure their questions are answered and their needs are met is the most important thing to me. They need to know that what’s going on in their lives is just as important as what’s going on with their teeth.
What’s the most rewarding moment you’ve had with a patient?
We had a very young patient come into the office that had severe anxiety. She was very nervous and not really wanting anything to do with us. By the time she returned for her next visit, she had colored a picture for Dr. Bloom and had hugs for each one of our staff. It didn’t take long at all for us to earn her trust.

How much has orthodontics changed during your career?
It seems like medical technology is always evolving. I think the most exciting thing in our office would be no more oooey, gooey impressions. We have a machine that now takes a 3-D scan of the mouth. That’s a win for us and our patients!
How long have you lived in Colorado?
I have lived in Colorado for 38 years.
What do you love most about this community?
I grew up in Highlands Ranch and I continue to be amazed at how much this community has grown. As much as it has changed, it is still such a great place to raise a family. One of my favorite things about this community is all of the events we get to be a part of. Sponsoring local school events is one of my favorite things. It’s so fun seeing our patients outside of the office. It’s also a great opportunity to meet new families.
Favorite local restaurant or go-to takeout spot?
My favorite restaurant is La Loma. You can’t beat the food and the view of the mountains is amazing!
A favorite local park, trail, or weekend activity?
If we’re just looking for a quick day hike, we love Castlewood Canyon. It’s just a quick 5-minute drive from our house and there is always something new to see here. If we have more time, our favorite hike would be the Maroon Bells in Aspen. This area truly embodies the beauty of Colorado.
What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
I love spending time with my family. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 25 years and we have two amazing daughters. We have recently started a new chapter, as we are beginning to experience what it’s like to be empty nesters. Any advice you can offer would be welcomed!
How do you spend a perfect Colorado weekend?
I like to use my weekends to get things done. I am usually cleaning the house, washing the car, giving the dog a bath or grocery shopping. Sunday is our family day. We enjoy going to church and then just relaxing with a good book or movie.
Do you have any pets? Tell us about them.
I am a HUGE animal lover! Over the past year we lost our two guinea pigs and our golden retriever. Our buddy Oakley is now an only child. He is a mix of White Shepherd, Husky and Malamute. He is such a good boy with a lot to say. My dream is to have a miniature highland cow.
Favorite movie, show, or podcast right now?
We recently got the opportunity to see Nate Bargatze in person. If you are looking for good, clean comedy…he’s your guy!

Best concert you’ve attended or next one on your wish list?
For as long as I’ve lived in Colorado, I’ve never been to a concert at Red Rocks. I would absolutely love to experience a Christian artist there. That is currently at the top of my bucket list.
If you could instantly master a new skill, what would it be?
I would love to learn how to use architectural/design computer software.
A fun fact most patients don’t know about you?
I do interior design as a hobby. I spend a lot of my free time designing, painting and shopping for clients. It’s my creative outlet and it’s another way to bring a smile to someone’s face.
