Invisalign® Teen
Adults aren’t the only ones interested in a more convenient way to straighten their teeth. Many teens today want a treatment option that fits their busy lives while still delivering a confident, healthy smile.
Invisalign Teen uses a series of nearly invisible clear aligners to gradually move teeth into their ideal position — without the brackets and wires of traditional braces.
For responsible and motivated teens, Invisalign can be an excellent orthodontic option. At Bloom Orthodontics, Dr. Bloom carefully evaluates each patient to determine whether Invisalign or braces will produce the best result.

Is Invisalign Right for Your Teen?
Invisalign can treat many orthodontic concerns, including crowded teeth, spacing issues, and bite problems. However, successful treatment depends on wearing the aligners consistently as directed.
During your consultation at Bloom Orthodontics, Dr. Bloom will evaluate your teen’s smile and discuss whether Invisalign or braces will provide the best long-term results.
Our goal is always the same: healthy teeth, a balanced bite, and a smile your teen can feel confident about.
Eat What You Want During Treatment
One of the biggest advantages of Invisalign for teens is flexibility.
With traditional braces, certain foods — like popcorn, sticky candy, or crunchy snacks — can damage brackets or wires. These foods are often off-limits during treatment.
Invisalign aligners are removable, so teens simply take them out while eating. This means they can continue enjoying their favorite foods while still keeping their teeth clean and healthy. Just remember to brush and floss before putting the aligners back in.
Studies have also shown that plaque buildup during orthodontic treatment is often lower with clear aligners compared to traditional braces, helping reduce the risk of cavities and enamel staining.

How Does Invisalign Work?
Invisalign treatment uses a series of custom-designed clear aligners that are typically worn for about one week at a time. Each new set of aligners gently moves the teeth a small step closer to their final position.
Dr. Bloom often compares Invisalign to an animated film created one frame at a time. Each aligner represents a single frame, gradually guiding the teeth through precise and carefully planned movements.
Using advanced digital treatment planning, Dr. Bloom can map out each stage of tooth movement before treatment even begins — creating a clear and predictable path to a healthier, more confident smile.
